Fruitport Township Police Department responded to a residence in the 7100 block of Cooley Road at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
A Fruitport Township resident who lives in the 7100 block of Cooley Road reported she had discovered an 18-year-old male subject sleeping inside her vehicle which was parked inside her garage. Police responded to find him still sleeping inside the vehicle.
The male subject, who was not known by the caller, was determined by police to be intoxicated. Police are continuing to investigate as information discovered during the initial investigation suggested the subject may have wandered away from party that took place the prior night at another house in the area.
The male subject is from the Grand Haven area. His name is not being released by police at this time.
