The Muskegon Police Department welcomes you to Nixle. In the coming days we will begin communicating crime related information, traffic advisories and other relevant safety and community event information. Note this is not an emergency warning system and we will use care not to overload you with excess e-mails or texts. We view this as a valuable communication tool in our continuing efforts to have residents be partners with police in improving the quality of life in Muskegon. Note that there will be a Neighborhood Awareness Initiative presentation given by Mayor Warmington at the Beachwood/Bluffton Neighborhood Association Meeting tonight, February 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Bluffton School, 1875 Waterworks.
