Fruitport Township Police Department is investigating a larceny from a vehicle at the Fruitport Middle School. There have been other recent larcenies from vehicles in church parking lots in the Fruitport Township area. Police are investigating whether these incidents are related.
The incident at the middle school took place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. The window of the victim's vehicle was smashed out, and the victim's purse and contents were stolen.
Members of the community are urged to report any suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or activity to the police.
