Fruitport Township Police Department is investigating recent larcenies from vehicles in church parking lots in the Fruitport Township area.
One incident took place during the evening hours of Wednesday, February 01, 2012, at Calvary Church (5873 Kendra Road) while the victim was at the church for a function. The window of the victim's vehicle was smashed out, and the victim's purse and contents were stolen.
A second incident took place during the morning hours of Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Kainay Church (3387 Heights Ravenna Road) while the victim was at the church for a church service. The window of the victim's vehicle was smashed out, and the victim's purse and contents were stolen.
Members of the community are urged to report any suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or activity to the police.
