Friday evening Deputies responded to the Devil’s Punch Bowl area of the Angeles National Forest regarding a missing hiker call around 6 P.M. Upon their arrival they found that the 29 year old female went on a hike at the location earlier in the day and had not returned. The missing hiker's car was found at the location with no indication of any foul play or clues to her whereabouts.
The Antelope Valley Search and Rescue Team responded and searched the area. On Saturday February 11, 2012 at 1:15 A.M. rescue teams located the Palmdale resident uninjured in the nearby mountains, where they were able to escort her to safety.
