The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department informed Alhambra Police that former Miramonte teacher Martin Springer, 49, of Alhambra (1700 block of Geranio Dr ) was released on bail at 2 a.m. Friday morning. Springer who was formally charged with three felony counts of alleged lewd acts on minors was fitted with a court-ordered ankle monitoring device before his release. The criminal case is being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
