UPDATE: Child Luring Investigation in Upper Macungie Township

On January 26th, 2012 The Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department (BLRPD) released information in regards to a possible child-luring attempt in Upper Macungie Township, specifically, at Chapmans Rd. and Warba Drive (A copy of his alert is listed below).

As a result of this alert, BLRPD received numerous calls from residents wishing to help by providing information.

With the public’s assistance, BLRPD investigators were able to identify the subject involved in this incident.

This case remains under investigation. Anyone who may have observed this incident is encouraged to contact police headquarters at 610-683-8740.

Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department is investigating a possible child luring incident that occurred on January 25, 2012 at approximately 4:00 pm in the area of Warba Drive and Chapmans Road, Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County. Two girls were approached by a male and were asked to go with him. The male was described as:

White male approximately 30 years old
5’7’, heavy build
Gray/brown hair
Wearing a Steelers sweater, black in color with yellow striping.
