Home Security Clinics

Campbellton Crime Prevention Specialists have partnered with Holmes Electric, Gills Security Systems and the Fayetteville Police Foundation and will host a How To Home Security Clinic on Monday, January 30, 2012. The clinic will begin at 6:30 pm and will be held at City Hall, 433 Hay Street inside Council Chambers.

The clinic is intended for both homeowners and renters. The tips provided to the community are designed to not damage or otherwise change the appearance or function of a home. Information will include what to look for when choosing the proper lock, how to pin windows, secure sliding glass doors, strengthen door frames, alarming your residence, and other security related items. The importance of recording and applying serial numbers to your property will also be discussed at the clinic. A representative from the Fayetteville Police Foundation will be available for your convenience, should a citizen decide they would like to purchase DataDot Microdots.

This clinic is designed to physically improve the security of a residence, as well as provide residents with a sense of well being. For more information please contact Crime Prevention at 433-1034, 433-1134 or 433-1873.
