**(The Montville Township Police Department)** is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.
**(Within the past week there have been two burglaries in Montville Township, one in Pine Brook and the other in Towaco. The first incident occurred near Rt. 202 & Candlewick Drive between the hours of 10 AM & 12 PM. The second incident occurred near Woodmont Rd. & Rutledge Rd. between the hours of 12 PM & 7 PM.
The Montville Police recommend the following crime prevention tips:
Make your home look occupied, and make it difficult to break in.
Lock all outside doors and windows before you leave the house or go to bed. Even if it is for a short time, lock your doors.
Leave lights on when you go out. If you are going to be away for a length of time, connect some lamps to automatic timers to turn them on in the evening and off during the day.
If you see a suspicious vehicle in your neighborhood record the license plate and then contact the police.)**
