Armed with a patrol-check request for a vacant house in the Firestone/Florence area, deputies from Century station recently came upon a burglary in progress. The house had been recently vacated due to a foreclosure. The suspect was located inside the residence, actively removing the window frames of the location. The deputies discovered the suspect had made forced entry into the location with the intent to remove the window frames in order to recycle the aluminum for money. This arrest is an example of the partnership Century station shares with the community.
