LASD/CARSON is conducting a Sobriety Driver's License Checkpoint in Carson on Friday 01/20/12. 
Weather permitting, Carson Sheriff's Station will be conducting a city funded Sobriety/Driver's License checkpoint within the limits of Carson on 01/20/12.
DUI checkpoints, along with regularly scheduled high visibility DUI enforcement are proven strategies with the goal of removing impaired drivers from the road. For added accountability, the Driver's License awareness program will also be in force.
