The Newton Police Department is reporting that on Monday December 26, 2011, at approximately 11:45 p.m. there was an Armed Home Invasion in a residence on Harvey Place, West Newton.

When officers arrived, they located two females and a male outside the home. These victims, who are all in there 20’s, stated they were the victims of a robbery and were not sure if the suspects were still inside. Officers then entered the home and found no one inside.

According to the victims, they were inside the residence when they heard a banging sound coming from the rear of the apartment. Seconds later, two masked men were inside the home, with one of them carrying a Silver Semi-Automatic handgun.

These suspects then ordered two of victims to the floor and bound their hands together. The other victim was ordered to lead the suspects through the rest of the residence. After taking an undetermined amount of items, the suspects bound the third victim, then fled the residence. Once the victims believed the suspects were gone, they were able to free themselves. Investigation revealed that the suspects entered the residence though a Bathroom window.

The suspects were described as being possibly Caucasian or Hispanic; with one of the suspect’s being about 6 feet tall and wearing a Black Hoodie and Black mask and showing the weapon described above. The other suspect is described as being shorter and wearing a Gray Hooded top, with a Black colored “puffy vest” and a Red Bandana on his face.

From statements made by the suspects, investigators believe this was “Not a Random Attack”
