The Alhambra Police Department would like to wish everyone a safe and sane holiday season. The mission and objectives regarding the grant received from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control are being met with great results. To date, the Alhambra Police Department along with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control have participated in two (2) training classes for local businesses, approximately thirty (30) business inspections and seven (7) enforcement operations. During the course of the enforcement operations, several arrests were made regarding alcohol related crimes and numerous citations were issued. The participation and assistance provided from citizens, visitors and local businesses regarding alcohol related crimes are well received. We would like to thank the citizens, visitors and local businesses for ensuring that alcohol related crimes will not be tolerated and that minors are unable to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.
