Recent Vehicle Burglaries at Local Churches 
Over the last several weeks there have been a number of vehicle burglaries taking place at local churches. They usually occur during services on Wednesday and Sunday. These vehicles may have been targeted due to items of value being left in plain view. A grey Chrysler PT Cruiser was seen at one of the locations. Anyone having information reference these crimes are requested to contact the Uvalde Police Department at (830) 278-9147 and ask for Criminal Investigations Division Lieutenant Mike Hernandez or Detective Braulio Castillo.
Please be aware of your surroundings when parking your vehicle. Take items of value with you or hide them out of sight. Always remember to lock your doors when away from your vehicle. It only takes seconds for a thief to enter your vehicle and take your property.
