Two Men Arrested for Gun Possession:
On Saturday, 17 December 2011 at 2:45 pm police responded to the area of Smith Street and McClellan Street on a report of shots fired.
During a fight between several individuals primarily from the Cities Plainfield and Carteret several shots were fired, amazingly no one was injured. Police arrested Victor Jimenez, (Black Shirt) age 28, 365 Oak Street, Perth Amboy, for possession of a handgun and marijuana. Also arrested was Hector Colon-Burgos, (White Shirt) age 20, 23 Chrome Avenue, Carteret, NJ, he was charged with weapons offences and aggravated assault. Both defendants had bail set by the Honorable Judge George Boyd at $200,000.00 no 10%. Both defendants were transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick.
