A MILD MOIST AIR MASS WORKING OVER THE COLDER GROUND WILL PRODUCE WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST THURSDAY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG ADVISORY WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST THURSDAY.

* VISIBILITY...VISIBILITIES WILL BE AT OR BELOW A QUARTER MILE THROUGH TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...DENSE FOG WILL MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN... USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.

THE NWS FORECAST SHOWS A LOW OF 33 FOR TONIGHT WITH TEMPS FALLING FROM THERE TO AROUND 29 BY 5PM THURSDAY. WHICH MEANS THAT SURFACES MAY BECOME ICY SOMETIME DURING THE PERIOD DEPENDING ON THE TEMPERATURE.


Late Afternoon: Periods of rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Areas of fog. High near 38. South southeast wind between 3 and 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Periods of rain before midnight, then occasional rain, possibly mixed with snow. Some thunder is also possible. Areas of fog before 3am. Low around 33. South southeast wind at 11 mph becoming west. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday: A chance of flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 29 by 5pm. West northwest wind between 11 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
