Children's Baseball Cap Burglar Arrested By Parks Bureau Detectives

On Friday December 2, 2011, at 2:30 AM, Parks Bureau Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man in connection with the burglary of a storage container located at Ted Watkins Memorial Park. The detectives were working surveillance at the park, when they observed the suspect enter the closed park. They saw him walk to the storage container area and then walk away from the containers carrying a box. The detectives detained the suspect and discovered the box contained new children’s baseball caps. They checked the containers and discovered one was unlocked. The container was filled with boxes of children’s baseball caps and other equipment.

Hernandez Vincson, male black, Forty-five years of-age, and a resident of Los Angeles, was booked at Century Regional Detention Center. He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
