No injuries were reported when 3 duck hunters had to leave their boat in Saginaw bay after large waves overturned it

Tuscola County Sheriff Sgt. Ted Hull responded to the fish point area to take a report of a capsized boat. Earlier today three subjects from Genesee County left out of Sebewaing to duck hunt in the bay. After getting into the bay they realized it was too rough. They turned around and attempted to make it back to Sebewaing. As they neared the channel, the boat was swamped by large waves. They had to leave the boat and eventually made it toward the shore. As they were wading towards shore someone picked them up and brought them in. They were wearing life vests and refused medical attention. The boat is still in the water and will be recovered when the weather clears
