The Hocking County Sheriff's Office will be participating along with other law enforcement agencies from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the Ohio rivier along the U.S. Route 33 corridor in reducing dangerous driving this Thanksgiving weekend. Begining Wednesday at noon and running until Monday morning, deputies will be conducting a high-intensity effort to reduce traffic crashes. Enforcement will focus on safety issues such as driving impaired, speed, agressive driving and seat belt use.
