Riverbank, CA – On Saturday October 29th Riverbank Police Deputies took a report of a burglary in the 3300 block of Stanislaus Street in the City of Riverbank. The victim, who was in the hospital at the time, had two electric wheel chairs, a 40 inch TV's, and several dozen DVD's in a black suit case stolen from his home.

One of the wheelchairs was located abandoned on High St and 2nd St in Riverbank. Detectives following up on the burglary located a witness who identified Dillon COLE (03/01/93) of Oakdale as the person they saw pushing the wheel chairs down the street near the location it was abandoned. Detectives contact COLE at his home in the 500 block of North 5th Street in Oakdale on November 4th. At COLE’s home, Detective’s noticed a TV that was similar to the one stolen from the Stanislaus Street burglary. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the home, conducted a search and confirmed that the TV in COLE’s home was the one stolen from Riverbank. Detectives also located the suit case with the stolen DVD’s and several other items that had been reported stolen from other recent home burglaries in the Riverbank area. The wheelchair and other recovered items were returned to the victim.

COLE was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for Receiving Stolen Property.
