The Berks-Lehigh Regional Police has an important message for you! 
THANK YOU to the crime watch members and Upper Macungie Township Public Works crew who helped BLRPD identify the suspect(s) involved with the hit and run accident that occurred recently at Lone Lane Park. Within 24 hours of the Nixle alert, BLRPD had received information that positively identified the driver of the vehicle.

On October 17th, 2011 at approx. 3:00 pm, a white Dodge van struck an electrical box at Lone Lane Park (30 Lone Lane). Two females exited the van, inspected the damaged unit, then drove off. The females were wearing black head cloths. The vehicle drove a short distance then stopped, due to a flat tire on the van. Minutes later, another vehicle arrived, and that vehicle and the van drove off (on the flat tire).
The suspects in this case are believed to live near the park.
