For the fourth time in the last 3 weeks a vehicle parked in front of Safeway, in the Washington Square Shopping Center on North McDowell Blvd, has had its window smashed and some type of electronic device stolen from the interior of the vehicle. Yesterday, at approx. 6 PM, a vehicle had its window smashed and an iPhone was stolen. Motorist are encouraged to not store valuables, including electronic devices, in plain view in the their vehicles. Anyone who observes someone looking into vehicles or trying to gain access into vehicles should call the police department.
