On Thursday, October 13th the Visually Impaired Support Group of Brown County will be involved in “Take Back the Crosswalk.”

On Thursday, October 13th the Visually Impaired Support Group of Brown County will be involved in “Take Back the Crosswalk.” (In conjunction with “White Cane Day.”)
The purpose of this event is to help make the motoring public aware of their responsibility to yield to a pedestrian carrying a white cane. (Wis Statue 346.26)
An event will be held on October 13th at approximately1:30pm. The group will be crossing the intersection of S. Adams Street at E. Walnut Street. The media is encouraged to attend.
This event is supported by the Green Bay Police Department in its continuing effort to make the City of Green Bay safe for everyone.
