Details: EXECUTIVE ORDER #47 - Governor Walker has issued an executive order that the flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Wisconsin be flown at half-staff at all buildings, grounds, and military installations of the State of Wisconsin beginning at sunrise on Saturday, October 8, 2011, and ending at sunset on that date as a mark of respect for fire fighters of this state who have given their lives in the line of duty.

THE WISCONSIN STATE FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS URGES YOU, THE FAMILY AND MEMBERS OF THE WISCONSIN FIRE SERVICE, TO JOIN US IN WISCONSIN RAPIDS ON OCTOBER 8, 2011 FOR THE FINAL ALARM CEREMONY AND THE FINAL ROLL CALL OF OUR FALLEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS AT THE WISCONSIN STATE FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL PARK. FOLLOWING THE AFTERNOON CEREMONY, OBSERVE THE FINAL ALARM PROCESSION SOLEMNLY WINDING THOUGHT THE STREETS OF WISCONSIN RAPIDS.
PLEASE JOIN US IN REMEMBERING OUR FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
