Incident: Petaluma Gang Sweep
Summary:
On the listed date and time the Petaluma Gang Enforcement Team with the assistance from other Sonoma County Law Enforcement Agencies conducted a gang sweep in Petaluma and the surrounding area. The sweep targeted subjects who are gang members or associate with gangs. They were contacted to see if they were in compliance with their sentenced terms of probation or parole. Fifteen compliance checks were done, seven arrests were made, four adults and three juveniles. All arrests were for violations of probation or parole terms. Adults were later transported to Sonoma County Jail and juveniles were transported to Sonoma County Juvenile Detention Facility.
