North Central Region road construction update

Description: Crews are constructing a four-lane divided highway between Marshfield and Stevens Point. This project involves the construction of a railroad overpass and an overpass over existing US 10. Crews will also construct and prepare the new alignment of US 10 for concrete paving.
Traffic impacts: During construction existing US 10 will remain open to one lane in each direction. Currently the eastbound and westbound shoulders are closed with a concrete barrier and will remain closed until the structures are complete. Beginning August 15, motorists can expect to encounter flagging operations. Crews will stop traffic on weeknights between 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. for approximately 15 minutes to set girders over existing US 10, just west of Blenker.
