The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Oconee County lasting until 9:15pm. The warning includes possible hail, standing water on the roadways, and wind gusts up to 45mph. Please use caution, and please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.

If your power goes out during the storm, please notify your power company and not 911 unless the power being out creates a medical or other emergency.
