Fremont Police Department is currently involved in a police activity on Peralta Bl near Glenmoor Dr. This is a shooting investigation. Please avoid this area until 6:00am.

At 2150 hours, a drive-by shooting occurred in front of 4555 Peralta Bl. A group of males, walking home from a meeting were confronted by 3-4 Hispanic males driving by in a white 4-door, possibly a Ford Taurus or similar vehicle. Words were exchanged and shots were fired from the car towards the pedestrians. FPD officers arrived and attempted CPR, followed by FFD life saving efforts, all to no avail.

One victim, a Hispanic male age 32, was fatally wounded. The suspect(s) are still outstanding at this time.


FPD Detectives are called-out and the investigation is currently on-going.
