At 2:00 a.m. there was a traffic collision involving a late model Jaguar and two parked police vehicles. Four officers were injured.
At 2:00 a.m. Los Angeles Police officers responded to a fight at the scene of a loud party in the community of Woodland Hills. At the scene of this call, two Los Angeles Police cars were parked at the east curb of Fallbrook Ave, just north of Victory Blvd. Shortly thereafter, a female driver, sixty-four years of age was driving a black Jaguar N/B Fallbrook Ave. The driver collided with two parked police cars and four LAPD officers who were standing near the parked police vehicles. The officers were struck by the vehicles during the collision.
Other officers at scene rendered aid to the driver and injured officers. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported injured parties to local hospitals. The driver of the Jaguar received minor injuries and was released from the hospital. The officers received injuries ranging from minor to severe.
No arrests have been made at this time and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
