Sheriff Baca will participate in the First Law Enforcement Experience of Korean Heritage event Wed. July 13th at 1:30

Who: Sheriff Lee Baca, Commander Gerald Cooper, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department; Chief Eric Nunez, La Palma Police Department; Jaewon Kim, Director and Consul of the Korean Cultural Center; and Chan-Hie Kim, President of Global Cooperation Society International.

What: Law enforcement professionals throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties will participate in a one-day workshop which focuses on understanding the Korean culture. An effective community is driven by the strengths of the partnerships within it. The goal of this workshop is to help strengthen the partnership between law enforcement professionals and the Korean community by exposing law enforcement professionals to the distinctive Korean cultural values and behaviors.

When: Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm
