Moderate risk of severe t-storms western middle TN and slight risk elsewhere. Damaging wind, large hail=main threat.

The National Weather Service predicts showers and thunderstorms this evening and into the overnight/early morning hours of Thursday. Some of these storms could become severe.

The main threats are damaging winds and large hail; however, isolated tornadoes may develop.

The Weather Channel's Tornado Condition (TOR:CON) Index for Wednesday is a 9 for western Tennessee and a 4-5 for middle Tennessee. (
