San Mateo Police Department is forwarding this information on behalf of the Community Initiative to address the use and abuse of Alcohol and Other Drugs in the North Central Area of San Mateo.

The Mission of the North Central San Mateo Alcohol and Other Drug Coalition is to unite and strengthen the North Central San Mateo family by promoting healthier lifestyles, through education, communication, collaboration and celebration.

Youth For Change represents the youth perspective component of the Coalition.

Youth For Change has been hard at work over the last year building on the research found in their
Photovoice project, which describes through photographs and narratives what a healthy and unhealthy
community look like from their expert perspectives. We ask you to join us as we share our Results
and Recommendations from the data we collected throughout this process. Please come with an
open mind and be willing to engage in conversation. We encourage you to Relax and Recommend
you invite your family, colleagues, friends and neighbors.
