A phone scam has begun to some Uxbridge residents regarding a new car and 5 million dollars. see email for specifics.

A new telephone scam has begun that some Uxbridge residents have recieved. The caller advises the person that they have won 5 Million dollars, but as in other scams people must send some up front money. Scam season has begun again. Do not engage in conversation or send money with these people. As usual, if it seems too good to be true it probably isn't. These scams often prey on senior citizens. If you have questions about any potential scams please call your local police. It is very difficult for police to capture offenders, but by not repsponding to the senders in the first palce can save you money and anxiety.
