Traffic on PCH. Malibu is now open in both directions follwing a fatal traffic collision.
On March 16, at 8:45 pm, Malibu/Lost Hills Station received a call of a traffic collision at 27400 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu. A vehicle driven Terry Turner and passenger Donna Martin was exiting Geoffrey’s restaurant, and was struck by a lone motorcycle rider who was traveling East on Pacific Coast Highway. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
East Bound traffic on Pacific Coast Highway was shut down at the time of the accident, and remained closed until 5:30 AM today when the investigation concluded. East Bound traffic was re-routed to Kanan Road for access to and from the 101 freeway and valley areas.
The 41-year old rider of the motorcycle who was killed in the accident, was a resident of Malibu. His name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin by the coroner.
The 50-year old driver of the vehicle, and the 47-year old passenger are from Oklahoma. They are visiting Southern California.
