Detectives from the Santa Ana Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect that stole a diamond ring set.

On 03/04/11, an unknown male Hispanic, late 20’s to early 30’s wearing a black baseball cap, white t-shirt with an unknown design on front, blue jeans and white athletic shoes entered the jewelry section of the Macy’s store inside the Main Place Mall. The male asked the sales associate to show him a ring. The sales associate handed the ring to the male, who ran out of the store with the ring. The ring was a diamond bridal set, valued at $7,699.
