On Monday, March 7th, 2011 at 1:39PM, Zone 4 Officers responded to the 400 block of Lexington in Point Breeze for the report of a male shot in the leg and groin area. Upon arrival City Medics and Guardian Angel paramedics were on the scene treating the victim. The victim was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition. The victim was alert and conscious and told police that that he did not know the actor. It is reported that the actor fled the scene on foot toward Thomas Blvd. where he got into a silver Cadillac with a black roof and left the scene.

It was learned that the suspect and the victim were involved in a road rage dispute earlier at the intersection of Thomas Blvd and Lexington and shortly after the incident escalated

Witnesses reported standing a short distance away and saw the victim and the actor in a verbal altercation. It was then reported that that the victim pulled out a gun and shot the victim wounding him. Once the victim fell to the ground witnesses reported that the actor walked up to the victim and shot 2-3 more times as he lay on the ground.

A description of the vehicle was aired. It was reported that a vehicle matching that of the actor was seen driving at a high rate of speed through Wilkinsburg. The vehicle was stopped by Wilkinsburg and Penn Hills PD and the actor fled the vehicle. A short foot pursuit ensued and the actor was tased and apprehended by Penn Hills PD. The witnesses were transported to the scene and made a positive identification of the actor who shot the victim. The actor was transported to UPMC Mercy Hospital to be treated and cleared.

The actor is identified as DAVID BUSH b/m, 36yo from the E. Liberty area. The victim is identified as a b/m, 37yo from the Wilkinsburg area.
