Officers Manrique and Grant were dispatched to the Durham Greens Apartments regarding four suspicious vehicles containing occupants believed to be smoking marijuana. The investigation reveals the occupants are not residents of the complex and one is found to be in possession of marijuana and cocaine. An adule male is arrested for possession of cocaine and for being under the influence.

Washington Hospital called to report a patient for using a false Social Security number and medical card. Officer Chinn investigates and discovers that an adult male is in possession of a deceased person’s personal information. The male is arrested for a parole warrant and transported to SRJ (Santa Rita Jail.)

A non-injury hit and run collision occurred on Fremont near Alder involving two vehicles. An independent witness followed the suspect vehicle to Fremont and Nicolet and watched the suspect exit his vehicle and remove the damaged bumper with his bare hands. The suspect placed the bumper inside the interior portion of the vehicle and walked to his apartment. Officers locate the suspect inside his apartment and arrest him for DUI and misdemeanor Hit & Run.

Ofc Gourley conducts a traffic stop and upon making contact with the driver, he smelled marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Once his cover unit arrives, he has the three occupants exit the vehicle. Ofc. Gourley searches the vehicle and locates the marijuana. When he looks under a jacket in the backseat he finds a loaded sawed-off shotgun. One of the occupants (M/18) admits the shotgun is his an is taken into custody. A 17 year old male passenger was arrested for an outstanding warrant. The driver, (M/19), was arrested for marijuana possession.
