On Sunday, February 27, 2011, at 6:08 pm, a 92-year-old male resident of Reseda, California was fatally injured by a hit a run driver while crossing Westbound Victory Boulevard at Reseda Boulevard. The pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk when the hit and run vehicle, described by witnesses as a dark colored four door sedan, made a left turn from Eastbound Victory Boulevard to Northbound Reseda Boulevard and collided with the pedestrian.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where he eventually died.
