Ofc. Manrique arrests two subjects for several outstanding warrants

Ofc. Kwok arrests a male for HS 11550.

Ofc. M. Stone arrests a male for PC 272 (contributing to the deliquency of a minor.)

Motel 6 (North) clerk attempts to evict a male subject from one of the room(s). No answer at the front door, uses a “pass key” to gain entry and discovers tenant on his back in the bed. Subject placed a plastic bag over his head with duct tape. Clerk observes Ofc. Laing in the parking lot. Ofc. Laing takes the bag off the subject’s head and confirms he is still breathing. FFP/AMR responds and transports the subject to WTH where he remains in critical condition. A suicide note was located in the room.

A 17 year-old male found deceased on his bed by mother. Son had recently been depressed because of father’s passing of cancer several weeks ago. Officers Hollifield/Nevin respond and determines no signs of foul play. ACSO Coroner responds and Sgt. Hummel and Sgt. Washington advised.
