Officer Macdonald conducted CPTED inspections at Ryland Collection Condominiums and Rancho Coronado Garden HOA.

Office Macdonald and Kathleen Brown met with the resident of at the Briarwood Apartments. Officers have responded to this apartment 22 times over 6 months for reports involving a juvenile. Possible resolutions were discussed.

Jailer E. Stephens interrupts a male trying to hang himself from the TV in our jail. He’s placed on a psychiatric hold.

A 53 yr old female attempts suicide via Ativan. Ofcr J. Taylor places her on a psychiatric hold but not before she reports that she & her boyfriend had planned to commit suicide together on this date. The boyfriend (63 yrs) reportedly took 90 Ativan pills and was drinking, last seen at 1630 hrs in his apartment (Coronado Apts.). He reportedly had a handgun & rifle, and had threatening to shoot her in the head if she didn’t follow through with their suicide pact. Ofcrs set up on apt & HNT Ofcr Huiskens negotiates him out. He is found not to be a danger to himself, but is supposedly dating another woman, upsetting the current girlfriend. Ofcr Dodson handled this matter but Ofcr Taylor returns to the girlfriend and cites her for a false police report.

Serious injury accident at Paseo & Kaiser. A female was partially ejected. Ofcrs Aranguren & Austin investigating.

Felony hit and run, stolen vehicle with the driver fleeing on foot (8:30 PM). Injured party suffers (6) broken ribs. Suspect fled in flood control Blacow & Calaveras (Filipino or Somoan M, 20’s, long blk hair, blk shirt over a long sleeve white thermal, blk pants.)Perimeter & canine search but not found. Dodson investigating.

(10:00 PM) Lone white male suspect enters the Bonfaire Market and robs the place of about $400 using a what appeared to be a stun gun. Suspect was wearing all dark clothing and had a backpack with him. Possible red tattoo on the right side of his neck. Investigated by Ofc. Edwards

Ofc. Nelson responded to the end of Industrial Pl. on a report of a suspicious circumstance, possibly theft of property. Ofc. Nelson tells the reporting party to call him back of the possible suspect returns. A short time later the RP calls Ofc. Nelson back to say that the suspect has returned. When Ofc. Nelson arrives, he sees the male driving a stolen vehicle that was discussed in briefing. The suspect immediately pulls over and surrenders.

Officers Tang and Edwards are detailed to assist a uniformed security officer at Creekside Village who has contacted 2 non-residents in a vehicle on property. Upon arrival, both subjects display signs of marijuana use and are fidgety and non-compliant. A male subject is arrested for terrorist threats against the security guard, trespassing, and resisting arrest. Investigated by Ofc. Tang.
