The California School for the Deaf on Stevenson Bl. was locked down at about noon today as officers from the CHP and Fremont Police investigated the false report of a shooting on campus. Dozens of officers and a helicopter searched for a gunman on campus, only to conclude that it was a hoax. The campus was locked down for about an hour.
