National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warning for Essex County for Snow/Ice until 7pm. Please use caution 
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Norfolk and Essex Counties for snow and Ice which is in effect until seven PM this evening.
Snow changing to sleet and then freezing rain. Accumulations of one to four inches of snow. In addition one quarter to one half inch of ice accretion is possible.
Snow was in the process of changing to sleet and freezing rain by mid morning across the region. Freezing rain will be the predominant precipitation type this afternoon. Untreated roads will be snow and ice covered and slippery. In addition one quarter to one inch of freezing rain may result in some downed large tree limbs and scattered power outages.
