3 robberies and 2 home invasions have been reported since 01-04 around 21st and Kearney Ave. Remain alert!

The Racine Police Department is investigating 3 robberies and 2 home invasions in the general area bounded by S. Memorial Dr. west to West Blvd and 17th St. South to Maryland Ave.
The robberies have been committed by lone or multiple armed suspects demanding valuables from lone victims.
The home invasions have occurred in the 2300 blk. of Dwight St. and 2300 blk. of Bate St. The suspects have knocked at a door to the home and when the door is answered force their way into the home. The suspects were armed with handguns in both incidents. The suspects demand valuables and flee the residence.
Residents are reminded to keep doors and windows locked, even while at home. Do not answer the door when you are not expecting anyone or for someone you do not know. Remain aware of your surroundings. Call the Racine PD.-262-635-7700- with any suspicious activity or persons.
