Potential for heavy snowfall late this week (12-24" in western Kalamazoo Co). Plan accordingly; drive safely.

Tonight may see another storm like Monday/Tuesday's. Snow accumulation for our area tonight is expected to be an inch or less between approximately 7PM and 3AM tomorrow.

Tomorrow the expectation is for 1 to 3 inches along the I-94 corridor.

The big news is the potential for significant accumlation Thursday night through Saturday afternoon. The prediction, as it looks today, is for 12 to 24 inches for Allegan, Van Buren and Western Kalamazoo Counties. The rest of Kalamazoo county can expect up to 12 inches.

Nightime temps on Thursday and Friday will be between 5 and 15 degrees. Winds throughout the period will be from the Northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Wind chills will be 0 to 10 degrees.

These storms have the potential to significantly impact morning and afternoon commutes for the rest of the week.

We anticipate additional information as more storm details become available. Emergency Management will provide additional information to you as we get it.
