On Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 at 11:42PM it is reported than a 38yo male employee from Capri Pizza, located in the 200 block of Brownsville Road, went on a food delivery to an address in the 400 block of Daytona. When the employee exited his vehicle he reported that a young looking black male with a small handgun approached him from the rear of his vehicle. The victim reported that the actor pointed the gun at him and demanded money. The victim complied and reached into his pocket to give the actor the cash in his possession. It was then reported by the victim that as he was pulling the cash from his pocket he was shot in the right leg by the actor. The actor grabbed the cash (approx. $200-$300) and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was able to call 911 for emergency assistance and was transported by EMS to UPMC Mercy Hospital in good condition with a gun shot wound to the right thigh. The attending physician indicated that the victim would need surgery to repair a broken leg due to the gun shot wound.
