The Hindu Temple at 1600 Las Virgenes Canyon Rd
Calabasas, CA is hosting a New Year's Day event which is likely to attract up to 5,000 people over the course of the day. Sheriff's Deputies will provide traffic control throughout the day to avoid traffic delays at the intersection of Las Virgenes Road (Malibu Canyon Road) and Las Virgenes Canyon Road. Motorists looking for coastal access to and from the 101 freeway should avoid Las Virgenes Road and use either Kanan Road or Topanga Canyon Road as alternates. Today's event at the Hindu Temple is expected to draw people from 7:00 AM through 7:00 PM.
