We have recently seen crimes where the victim was either selling or buying something on Craig’s List. The victim has agreed to meet the other party at a location. After they meet, the victim was robbed. If you are utilizing Craig’s List, or another type of internet sales siight and need to meet with the other party, do it at a local police department. This is a very safe environment. If the other party does not wish to meet there, they probably are not legitimate. An honest person will have no problem meeting you there, and you both will feel more comfortable.
