SMPD Detectives are asking for Community Assistance to nab a Robbery Suspect
Friday, December 17th 10:30 am -
Two construction workers working on an unoccupied residence in the 1300 Block of Maple St. were confronted by two armed suspects and robbed of their personal possessions. Neither of the victims were injured. The construction workers were confronted in an isolated area out of public view and appear to have been targeted.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect #1 –
Hispanic Male, 20-30 years old, about 5’11 and 180 lbs. – clean-shaven with a possible red birthmark on the right side of his face.
Wearing a black zippered “hoodie” jacket, black pants, and armed with a silver handgun.
A SKETCH OF THE ARMED SUSPECT DESCRIBED ABOVE IS ALSO ATTACHED!
Suspect #2 –
Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, about 5’8 and 180 lbs. – thin face with a goatee.
Wearing a red zippered “hoodie” jacket, jeans, and armed with a knife
The suspects were last seen fleeing the area on foot.
Anybody who may have information related to this crime is asked to contact the San Mateo Police Department Investigations Bureau. The investigation is continuing.
