Special Weather Statement. Rain continues but no flooding expected. Advisory from the Weather Service attached.

The greater Sebastopol area has received anywhere from 2 inches to 3 inches of rain over the last weekend. The rain has come with breaks in between storms, lessening the threat of local flooding. The National Weather Service and the River Forecast Center does not predict flooding on the Russian River or the Laguna De Santa Rosa during the remainder of this week.

Rain will continue off and on this week, and it is important that residents stay alert for flash flooding in their area. Storms can produce gusty winds, and localized power outages are always a possibility. Please monitor local news and weather broadcasts as conditions can change.

The following is the latest bulletin from the National Weather Service for our area.
