Officers responded to the Ross store at the Hub on a report of two females fighting inside. Officer Tran arrived and located one female in the store. During the contact the female started acting strange. She shouted “I’m human, I have a brain”, and then began swearing at Officer Tran. Officer Tran attempted to reason with the female but she became more difficult and ultimately pushed him. Officer Tran detained the female in handcuffs and referred her to WTH for an evaluation.

A cashier working at Cold Stone Creamery (Pacific Commons) reported being robbed at knife point. The victim described the suspect as a BMA, 30-35 years-old, wearing black jeans and a black shirt. The suspect wore a white beanie and scarf over his head and face, and forced the victim to open the store safe.

Outside Assist for Concord P.D. investigating a theft that occurred in their city. The loss was a $44,000 ring. A search warrant was served at a home in Fremont. The suspect was not present.

Ofc. Kwok arrested a subject for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ofc. Blass responded to a report of a loud party and arrested a subject for a DUI warrant.

Officer Gourley made a vehicle stop and arrested a subject for driving without a license.

Officer Zambonin arrested two people for domestic violence. Both parties placed the other under citizen’s arrest.

Outside Assist for CHP. CHP requested assistance for an officer following a vehicle with a lost/stolen plate. Units arrived, and the stop was initiated. Immediately all three occupants fled on foot into the industrial area on Fremont across from NUMMI. The CHP patrol officer caught one passenger, and Officer Dias was able to run down a second passenger (15 years old). The driver was able to get away and hunker down. The vehicle was determined to be stolen, and a replica handgun was found inside. Midshift units went back out on the streets to assist dayshift with a perimeter. Just as we were about to search the UAW lot with Officer Baca’s K9, the suspect popped out and surrendered. The driver was 14 years old, out of Fremont.

Robbery: A man and woman who were walking near Besco Dr and Piper St were robbed by two male suspects. The loss is a drivers license and debit card. The first suspect was an HM, 18-20, 5’5” to 5’6”, heavy set and armed with a semi auto pistol. The second suspect was a WMA, 16-21, 5’7” to 5’9”, and a thin build. The suspects fled in a late 90’s 2 door cream Nissan.

What initially came in as a report of a stabbing at a home ended up being the brandishing of a knife and a battery between a woman and her boyfriend’s brother. Both parties are arrested, one for brandishing a knife and the other for battery. While on the way to jail one of the suspects made threats to hurt an officer and then spat at him. The subject was booked into Santa Rita County Jail.

Officer Luevano went a residence on Sutter Dr to arrest a subject for outstanding warrants. The subject fled out the backyard and over the fence to a neighbor’s yard where he was later located and arrested.

Traffic Officers Aranguren and Austin arrest a subject for DUI

Shooting: A male victim called 911 to report that he had been shot. Officers respond to the scene on W. Pickering and find a male suffering from a single, non life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper left thigh. According to the victim he was sitting in his car smoking a cigarette before going into his sister’s apartment when two males, a white male and a black male, come up on him and begin to search his vehicle and assault him. During the assault one of the males pulls out a 9mm handgun and fires 3 shots, striking the victim only once. Victim is rushed to Eden and will be released by morning.

Sgt. Miskella makes a vehicle stop at Folsom & Nelson and arrest a subject for providing false identification. The subject was out on bail on an unrelated felony case.

Officer Malcomson makes a vehicle stop at Robin & Blacow and arrested a subject for warrants.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle occupied by a parolee at large. The subject was reportedly armed and dangerous. The suspect flees from the area of Yorktown & Charleston. The suspect blacks out and flees at a high rate of speed towards Blacow. Sgt. O’Connell is nearly run off the road by the fleeing suspect. Still no vehicle pursuit due to the distance and suspect’s driving. Sgt. O’Connell locates the crashed suspect vehicle on Roberts near Carol. Sgt. O’Connell is in a short foot pursuit until suspect starts jumping fences. A perimeter is established and a coordinated canine search initiated. The suspect ultimately located by the K-9 hiding inside a garage.


Traffic Officers Aranguren and Austin arrest a subject for DUI

Ofc. Stillitano arrested a subject for a felony warrant for operating without a contractor’s license

Newark PD calls and advises that they have a male, who is active military, in custody following a rolling domestic battery in their city. The victim’s car is parked at the BevMo lot at Mowry East shopping center. Information from the victim is that the male has a backpack in the car with some grenades he brought with him from his military post. A consent search of the vehicle reveals a military satchel in the trunk. Base on information provided, ACSO Bomb Squad responds and detonates a suitcase. No explosives were located, but the male did have military smoke canisters.


Officers are dispatched to Fitness 19 at 40758 Fremont Blvd on a report of a male being aggressive and acting strangely. Officers locate the person and eventually arrest him for vandalism and being under the influence of drugs. He was also placed on a psychiatric hold. He was transported to John George.

The landlord goes to his property after tenants had not paid rent in several months. Upon entering the house, he finds a marijuana grow of approximately 170 plants. Officer Chahouati responds and writes a search warrant to enter the property. The suspects had removed interior walls, drilled holes through the walls and floor for ventilation, sealed windows with plywood and caulking, and generally destroyed the house. Follow up forwarded to Major Crimes.
